DEGREES / DESIGN
GRAPHIC DESIGN
DEGREE OVERVIEW
Graphic Design (formerly Graphic Production) exposes its students to the techniques and theories required for advanced proficiencies in computer graphics, typography, layout, principles of advertising and marketing, package design, photographic applications, and graphic production. The curriculum inspects the balance between these elements and applies them to various media such as television, print, digital design, commercial products, signage, corporate identity, and advertising channels. Graduates tend to enjoy employment or freelance opportunities in design studios, advertising agencies, publishing houses, government agencies, and companies of all types and sizes. In today’s market, Graphic Designers may also process talents which lead to areas of sales and management or may make them attractive candidates for various design training programs offered by large printing firms or film studios.
Beyond core curriculum and elective coursework, students are exposed to classes in Painting, Drawing, Advertising, Graphic Design & Production, Multimedia Design, and more.
